(24 Jul 2080) From the city of Dubai to the townhouses of London, from the hypertechno-boom in Tokyo to the vast urban sprawl of Lagos, the post-scarcity economic boom has had a significant effect among the world population. The transformation began in the 2020s, as most history books would point to the invention of the Spring body tissue synthesis method by students of Oxford University. A series of reforms, discoveries, industrial revolutions and breakthroughs later, the first half of the 21st century ended, and with it, the concept of scarcity. Cultures evolved to fit this sudden evolution of human technology, and all of the sudden, obesity was no longer a problem - it was a lifestyle. Life in a Fat Future: Sunday
[contains teenage SSBHM] I woke up, hung over from the synthesizer raid last night. Changing into my usual clothing, I followed my usual of waddling into the dining room and stuffing my face with breakfast food. Then, I noticed it was a Sunday, and my shirt is starting to ride up my massive belly. "Mom, dad, can we go to the mall after mass? I need some bigger clothes..." "Alright, Jason. But come home before dinner, alright?" my mom replied. "Thanks, mom." My dad heaved his heavy body up to watch the news, and told me to change into some more formal clothing. After that, I munched on some breakfast bars while browsing some appetizing food pics on my phone. After a while, we headed into our family car. I slowly moved my quarter ton body into the garage, and lifted my tree branch thick legs into the car.
